Inaugurato nel 1997 su progetto dell’architetto americano Frank O. Gehry, ospita esposizioni di opere d’arte appartenenti alla Fondazione Solomon R. Guggenheim e anche mostre itineranti. Importantissima attrazione turistica, richiama visitatori da tutto il mondo diventando così il simbolo della Città di Bilbao nel mondo.
